Destinations in Canada

Canada, the second largest nation in the world and containing a population of 32 million residents, can also claim the spot for being one of the friendliest. It’s a highly technologically advanced country, on par with its southern neighbor, the United States.

Canada also contains some of the most beautiful landscapes this side of the western hemisphere, from majestic whitecap mountains to wide, winding rivers to rolling plains and deep green rainforests. If you're brave enough to brave the northern arctic cold, you will be rewarded by a personal glimpse in the Inuits, the native people of Canada.

Whether you love to visit big cities, absorb different histories, shop, or ski, Canada always has something to offer. Its cultures are as varied as its many landscapes, with primarily French Canadian Québec, affluent British Columbia, lively Ontario, or tranquil Alberta, Canada's provinces each provide a unique wealth of experiences just waiting to be explored.

The country’s biggest cities are also its most beautiful and wondrous. Come to Montréal or Québec City for a taste of French Canadian culture, uniquely to Québec province, or perhaps a visit to the country’s capital, Ottawa, to watch Canada’s government in action is more to your liking.

The largest city in Canada, Toronto, is a huge sprawling metropolis and a cultural hotspot for city life. It's Canada's power city, diverse, large, and booming with business. Combine the beauty of the natural and urban in “Hollywood North,” or Vancouver, British Columbia. The city is both metropolitan and stunning, squeezed between lush rainforests of evergreens and the glimmering coast.
