From the slopes of the Rockies to the growing cultural metropolis of Denver, Colorado is a state with a lot to offer. This is the place to go for winter sports, with skiing at famous locations like Aspen, Breckenridge, Durango, and Vail.

Visitors to Colorado Springs can stop by the U.S. Olympic Training Center or take a 13-mile hike up Pikes Peak. In the summer, you can enjoy hiking, camping, whitewater rafting, and many other outdoor activities statewide.

When the winter sports have worn you out, Colorado has many other things to do. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is one of the best in the world, while the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs is the only mountainous zoo in America.

Some of Colorado's annual events are famous around the world. The U.S. Comedy and Arts Festival, held in Aspen, brings scores of guests to the state every year.
